: : I just upgraded to an AMD K6-2 450 with a 3dfx

: :Now, when I start v9t9, the initial screen
: :colors are off. The image is there but mostly

: I just wanted to confirm that I've seen this once in a while, on various video cards I've had... but also that it's gone away so I don't know what caused it. I'd be curious if anyone finds out.

: In the meantime, Dave, make sure you have the latest 3DFX VooDoo3 drivers and DirectX (which Windows uses all over the place). I have a Voodoo3 and v9t9 does work on mine.

I'd like to confirm that I have this same graphics error when using V9T9 in pure DOS mode OR in a DOS box. I've yet to figure out what it is either. I believe it has something to do with how V9T9 uses the VESA standard to display its screen info (at least, I believe it uses VESA). Perhaps it also has something to do with refresh rates. Unfortunately, getting the latest version of Sci-Tech and the latest video card BIOS chip for my beleaguered Number9 Imagine128 Series II 8 MB VRAM did not help at all. Wish Ed was around to hypothesize.
