Hey all! I recently got a Linux Compilation, that had
MAME (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) in it. From what
I;ve read, on the MESS homepage, this program is the
actual contruct that Mess for DOS and Mess32 is based
upon. Can someone actually clarify the differences? I've
tried leaving emails on the MESS homepage, but, never
got a response.
Thanks, in advance. Ohhh...one more thing...if you want
to run a TI99/4a emulator in Linux, try an emulator
within an emulator. I have been able to install DOSEMU
on my system, and, though I have't tried PC99 yet, V9t9
runs great...with a little tweaking. The only thing
so far I haven't been able to use (other than the PC
speaker) is the sound card. But, it will work in
X windows, and well as, from the console. Ain't technology
great !!! Bye for now...Jt/mS
