I received from Raphael Nabet a WIP TMS5220 core for me to build a beta version of MESS and MAME. This TMS5220 core allows the use of speech roms (so Extended Basic speech and so-on can work). I'm beta-testing it for him as Nicola Salmoria and MAMEDEV is a little askance at changing the MAME sound core for the sake of MESS - it can screw up many arcade games. So I am building my own MESS and MAME with this driver, and will be doing testing. IF anyone wants me to test their ExtB program, put it on a DOAD and email it to me. (keep it small, now...) If you want to beta test this yourself, I might upload my builds somewhere if I can find the server space. I need permission first. If you want to look at the changes made to the source, you will have to talk to Raphael. The edits he made were not only to the TI driver and the TMS5220 core, but also the TMS9900 core...
(BTW, frequent the MESS UBB on Emuverse - great fun!)
