Full Version: Can anyone identify this cable?

I'm sure it's for a printer  especially since it's very similar to the cable shown for the ParallAx TI Printer Interface
and it has the TI logo on it. However, I'm not sure what 16 pin devices it would connect to and I'm not even sure if it is for the 99/4a or for a TI calculator. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks. Here are some pics:

Surely it's too large for a calculator...   I think it would fit right into a 99/4a RS-232 (and parallel) expansion card:

Surely it's too large for a calculator...   I think it would fit right into a 99/4a RS-232 (and parallel) expansion card:

I thought it might be too large for a calculator as well. Some of the older "table top" calculators are rather large and clunky, so I didn't rule it out even though those usually came with a very small printer built right in. Your thoughts make sense to me. Thanks for your help!
