I'm trying to run MESS with the Adventure ROM. Every
time I run it, it tells me it cannot find some files,
such as "p2000.rom", "basic.rom", and "p2000.chr". I,
of course, have absolutely no idea what I'm doing
wrong. Since there are no instructions on how to use
the MESS software, how to install it, etc, I'm winging
this. Any suggestions on proper installation (other
than what is available on Michael Fox's home page,
which I tried and it did not help) would be
appreciated.
