OK - for those who read my diatribe before, you've likely found out that I was wrong. =)

MESS clearly does not use the V9T9 disk format - so I naively assumed it must be using PC99's. Oops. Couldn't be further from the truth.

In fact, the disk format in MESS is rather similar to that of V9T9's DOAD - MESS can even see the disk header and blocks free on a V9T9 disk! Regrettably, the data is a different story.

As a result, this is an appeal to either a) have the author of the TI driver in MESS _please_ change to a more standard format (V9T9, anyone? ;) or b) have him or anyone else write a small conversion tool to/from V9T9 and MESS disk image formats.

Any takers? :)

Rodney

P.S.: If anyone has the e-mail address of the author of the TI driver, I'd be happy to discuss this with them one-on-one to see if something can be done. I'm not about to type in all these 99'er programs all over again.
