The Ti is pretty tough. While you may have a
dead console, you can check a few things. Make
sure the keys aren't stuck, make sure the cables
are all good with no shorts. Make sure the power
switch slides smoothly (and you can sometimes
wiggle it to make it smooth up).
Basic stuff... I've had consoles do that when
they aren't happy with their setup. :)
But given the age, don't spend too much time on
it. It may well be dead.
