Zork

Postby mobilewarrior » May 24th, 2011, 1:49 pm

Hello everyone this is my first time posting to the new board. (been busy with life) anyway I am trying to run the zork games posted on wht ( on my real TI) I downloaded the file transfered them to the TI with mfm and then dearked them. They appear to run just fine until I try to enter am command then the game tells me "bad opcode" and the session is ended. Anyone know what might cause this issue. Thanks for any help

First, try to run Zork from an Emulator. If it works in the emulator, then there must be something wrong with your computer.

I transfer my Infocom games to the PC and successfully run the game in emulation. I could not get the original disk working on a real TI. I got an error message when booting up the Infocom game. It has been a long time ago, "bad opcode" sounds familiar.
