Ben, you know what material it is made the circuit of the membrane keyboard?
The circuit is made of a dark material, is it graphite?
The graphite is also conductor and if graphite, graphite also ha pens for correcting circuits.

Finally managed to repair the keyboard of my TI-99/4A Texas, bought a conductive ink pen (nikel conductive) and restored the circuits.
Works great! I had a surgeon to work off of the board where the membrane is sandwiched as it is very thin and sensitive, easily tears or breaks a circuit line.
But anyway, I'm very glad that I had managed to repair this relic.
Ben Thanks for the tips you gave me.

Excellent news. Did you take pictures of the changes? This would be a great how-to lesson for others with similar problems. . .

Unfortunately I have not photographed the repair process because I do not know if it would work. But despite being a thorough job is easy but requires a little patience and care. I'm not professional in electronica, just a little curious, I think anyone can do this repair. I had great difficulty in achieving buy nikel conductive pen (can also be a conductive silver) because here in Portugal, such materials are only sold in specialty houses and even then only in some. Anyway I am available for any questions that might clarify and learn.
I apologize for my English because I am using the google translator, lol.
