The TI-99/4A Home Computer Page (HCP) http://www.99er.net/ Newsletter #60 February 20, 2005 NEW VERSION OF THE TI-99/4A SIMULATOR- Win994a V3.002 Cory Burr has completely rewritten and released a new version of his excellent TI-99/4A simulator for Windows. In addition to bug fixes, the new version has an info panel that shows peripheral activity, manual cover art and descriptions are shown when loading cartridges, and a ramdisk is built in! 2 ADDITIONAL DOWNLOADS FOR USE WITH Win994a V3.002: BUG FIX PATCH & DISK MANAGER This patch that will fix an error in the Win994a disk system. You just download and run the patch AFTER you have installed Win994a V3.002. Cory has also created a Windows version of the disk manager that works with disk and tape images. *Win994a, the patch, and the disk manager can all be downloaded at http://www.99er.net/win994a.shtml TI99 BUMPER STICKERS Order your TI99 bumper sticker at http://www.99er.net/stickers.html . The stickers are the European oval kind, measure 4"x6", and are made out of durable polyprophlene. NEW VERSION OF CS1er Dean Corcoran has released the third version of CS1er (V0.9Beta release 1). The program runs in Windows and will read files stored on TI cassette tapes and then save them in 'FIAD' file format for use with emulators. LATEST MANUAL SCANS/FILE DOWNLOADS The Gram Kracker manual, the Defender cartridge manual, the Picnic Paranoia manual, and a booklet from the Boston TI User Group that is a compilation of TI Writer tips have all been scanned into PDF format and can be downloaded from the new download database at http://www.99er.net/download/index.php . Additionally, you can also download a zip file containing all of the manuals that I have scanned to date, as well as an archive of the 99er.net site. The database is intended to be a central place download all files, and will eventually contain all files on 99er.net.
